MEMFix is a community-led revitalization effort in Memphis, Tennessee.
It is a temporary showcase of what a dynamic, walkable neighborhood could look like with pop-up shops, activated storefronts, vibrant public spaces, bicycle and pedestrian-friendly streets, and engaging activities for visitors.
MEMFix demonstrates the “art of the possible” by temporarily transforming designated city blocks. The neighborhoods being transformed for the 2023 project include: Alcy Ball, Frayser, Whitehaven, The Heights, Orange Mound, Klondike Smokey City, and South City.

The two most important factors for understanding if your neighborhood is ready for a MEMFix project are:
- Community leaders and participants whole have a shared vision and desire for change
- Clear potential for the neighborhood to become a vibrant public space
